Ron Surkin represents:

 
  • Professionals, executives,  employees and contractors in matters relating to their employment, employment contracts, partnerships, shareholder or consulting arrangements;
  • Small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations, including private schools, in matters relating to their governance, employees and independent contractors;
  • Individuals seeking disability insurance benefits; and
  • Parties in commercial litigation.


He has over 40 years’ of trial experience in:

 
  • Employment discrimination cases;
  • Noncompete, nonsolicitation and trade secret disputes;
  • ERISA (group disability) and individual disability benefit claims; and
  • Many other cases, including libel, slander, private shareholder disputes, partnership battles and construction claims.


He has argued or tried cases:

 
  • In the United States Supreme Court;
  • In the Third Circuit Court of Appeals;
  • In every federal district court in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey;
  • In all the state appellate courts in Pennsylvania, and many of its trial courts;
  • In various arbitration forums.

He has frequently served as a mediator in employment disputes.
